STRUCTURAL WORK

We have many years of experience of working within the auspices of the building regulations, have undertaken commissions for the preparation of drawings for planning permission and building control approval and have CAD drawing facilities. We can build from scratch and are happy to undertake Project Management work and are used to working with and managing subcontractors. We are fully conversant with the current regulations and solutions for sound proofing and preventing the spread of fire.

ROOFING

We have experience in construction of most common roof structures from oak truss and purlin to modern timber truss, and most coverings from stone, slate, clay tile, timber shingles, lead and glass. We can detail, source and fit replacement cast iron and wrought iron goods and have experience of repair and renovation of existing structures.

JOINERY AND CABINET MAKING

We operate with the benefit of a fully equipped joinery workshop and over 20 years of experience in joinery and cabinet making and a thorough knowledge of indigenous and exotic timbers. Our policy and preference however, is to use locally sourced timber if possible, and if not, to gain assurances as to the sustainability of any material used. This area of our work includes a wealth of expertise in detailing for period and bespoke joinery, and the production of appropriate mouldings, architraves, skirting etc.

INTERNAL DECORATION AND DETAILING

We have many years of experience of interior design and can undertake all aspects of interior decoration including tiling, plaster moulding, paper hanging and painting.
